Capilano is car friendly. It is very easy to find a place to park. In contrast, Capilano is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and it is very easy to find a nearby bus stop from most homes. Most houses for sale in this area are located in places that are not very convenient for those who travel by foot as few daily errands can be run without needing to use a car. However, Capilano is appropriate for bicycling because the cycling infrastructure is comprehensive.

It is a short walk to reach primary schools and daycares from most properties for sale in Capilano. On the other hand, there are no high schools in this part of Edmonton. In terms of food, it is rarely an option for house buyers in Capilano to shop for groceries on foot. Nonetheless, reaching the nearest pharmacy and consequently some staple foods is usually convenient. A limited selection of coffee shops can be found as well.
Character
The character of Capilano is exemplified by its slower-paced environment. This area is very quiet overall, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue. Finally, public green spaces, like Capilano Community Park and Gold Bar Park, are very well-distributed and there are a few of them close by for residents to unwind in, making it very easy to get to them.
