Walking is also not very practical for residents in Boundary Bay Village because many daily needs are difficult to meet without having to resort to a vehicle.

Property owners in this part of the municipality almost always have to use a vehicle to do grocery shopping. In terms of education, there are no high schools and no primary schools in Boundary Bay Village. Moreover, daycares are not plentiful and thus not always within walking distance.
