Township of Langley is a municipality located in the Greater Vancouver metropolitan area, which is part of British Columbia, Canada.


In Township of Langley, about 45% of buildings are single detached homes, and the remainder are mainly small apartment buildings, duplexes, and townhouses. Around 30% of properties in this municipality were built after the year 2000, while the majority of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1960s and the 1980s. This municipality offers mainly three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes. Around 80% of the units in the municipality are occupied by homeowners while the remainder are rented.


Travelling by car is very convenient in Township of Langley. It is very convenient to find a place to park. However, Township of Langley is not very transit friendly. Biking is difficult in Township of Langley since the cycling infrastructure is not very extensive, and riding is rendered arduous by the typically sloping topography. It can be challenging to access high schools and primary schools on foot from homes for sale in this part of the Greater Vancouver metropolitan area. Moreover, there are only a few daycares and thus they can be an extended walk away. Along with public schools, there are private elementary and high schools. With regards to eating, a portion of house buyers in this part of the Greater Vancouver metropolitan area may be able to purchase groceries by walking in one of over 100 stores, while others will have to turn to a vehicle. A small number of restaurants and cafes can be found as well.


Home buyers who prefer a relaxed environment will enjoy Township of Langley. This municipality is fairly good for those who need quiet areas, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic - although that is not the case around one of the railway lines, the airport (YNJ) or Trans-Canada Highway. Finally, it is easy to get to public green spaces, since there are over 200 of them close by for residents to discover and most homes for sale have a park within walking distance.
