Austin West is especially car friendly. Coming across a parking spot is quite easy. In contrast, the public transit system in Austin West is not very practical. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. Austin West is not very convenient for those who travel by foot as very few daily errands can be run without needing to resort to a car.
Services
Some, but not all, house buyers in this part of Prince George will live within walking distance of the closest supermarket. Residents of this area are served by a few restaurants as well. In terms of education, high schools and primary schools are not especially abundant in Austin West, and consequently tend to require a rather long walk to get to. Furthermore, parents and their children may consider it difficult to get to daycares as a pedestrian.

Austin West offers a calm ambience and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time outdoors.
