However, commuting by public transit is difficult in this part of the municipality. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is generally very close. Westhill is also not very suitable for those who travel by foot as running daily errands is challenging.
Services
In this neighbourhood, parents and their children will commonly be able to access primary schools on foot. In contrast, Westhill does not contain any high schools. When it comes to eating, it is very rarely practical for home buyers in Westhill to buy their groceries on foot.
Character
Westhill is a fairly good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a calm ambience. It is very easy to get to public green spaces since there are a few of them nearby for residents to discover. This area is also reasonably quiet, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue - although that is not the case close to Trans-Canada Highway.
