Nevertheless, the city is served by about 20 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most homes. It is impractical for people walking to move around in Saint John since very few daily needs can be carried out on foot.
Services
Accessing one of around 20 grocery stores on foot is an option for some, but not all, house buyers in Saint John. Residents benefit from over 150 restaurants and coffee shops as well. As far as education is concerned, it can be difficult to walk to high schools and primary schools from houses for sale in Saint John. In addition, parents may find it difficult for their kids to get to daycares on foot.
Character
Saint John is reasonably good for those who like quiet areas, as the streets tend to be quite peaceful - however noise can be problematic around one of the railway lines or the airport (YSJ).
