The majority of real estate listings are a reasonably short drive from the closest highway, such as Highway 403, and it is very convenient to park. However, public transit riders may have few options in Bayview by reason of the service's low frequency. Nevertheless, homeowners have access to a few bus lines, and bus stops are generally nearby. Bayview is not very conducive to those who travel by foot as carrying out day-to-day needs is at times challenging. This part of Burlington is also not very conducive to cycling because cyclists encounter a considerable amount of elevation changes, and the bicycling network is rather limited.

It is a reasonably short walk to access daycares from most homes for sale in this neighbourhood. In contrast, primary schools and high schools are not particularly abundant in this part of Burlington, and consequently tend to be an extended walk away. With regards to food, a portion of house buyers in Bayview may have the option to purchase groceries on foot, while others will need another means of transportation. Residents benefit from approximately 10 restaurants and coffee shops as well.
Character
The character of Bayview is exemplified by its slower-paced atmosphere. There are a few green spaces close by for residents to check out and they are very well-located, which makes it easy to reach them. This neighbourhood is also reasonably quiet, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic - however some areas can be quite noisy, especially closer to Highway 403 or the railway line.
