Transportation

Driving is a great transportation option in Rural. It is very convenient to come across a parking spot. The bike is a fairly poor mode of transportation in Rural because bicycle riders are faced with a considerable amount of slopes, and the bicycling network is not very comprehensive. Most homes for sale in this part of Burlington are located in areas that are also not very convenient for those who travel by foot because almost no common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.

Services

There are only a very small number of primary schools in this part of Burlington and thus they can be a very long walk away. Additionally, Rural does not contain any high schools. Likewise, parents and their schoolchildren may find it very difficult to access daycares as a pedestrian. With regards to food, in all cases, a car is required in this part of Burlington to reach the nearest grocery store. A limited number of restaurants are available in Rural.

Character

Rural is fairly good for those who enjoy quiet surroundings, as the streets are generally reasonably calm - although that is not the case closer to the airport (ZBA), Highway 407 or the railway line. Parks are spread out sporadically, which makes it rather difficult to get to them. Still, there are a few green spaces close by for residents to relax in.
