Driving is usually the best approach to navigate this part of Halton Hills. In contrast, the public transit system in this area is not very convenient. Walking is not very practical for residents in Hornby as very few daily needs can be met on foot. Hornby is also not very amenable to biking because there are quite a few hills, and the cycling network is not very well-developed.

Character
Most areas in Hornby are reasonably quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - although that is not the case closer to Highway 401. It is rather challenging to access parks since they aren't well-distributed. Still, there are a few green spaces close by for residents to enjoy.
