Transportation
Driving is a very good transportation option in Fessenden. It is easy to find a place to park, and nearby highways, such as Lincoln M Alexander Parkway, are very easy to drive to from any home in this part of Hamilton. However, the public transit service in Fessenden is not very frequent. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are ordinarily nearby. Fessenden is not particularly convenient for walking since most daily needs are at times difficult to meet without the use of a car. Fessenden is also not very cycling-friendly as riding a bike is made strenuous by the often sloping topography, and the bicycling network is not very extensive.

A grocery store is ordinarily reachable within a short walk from any home in this neighbourhood. Residents are served by a few restaurants and coffee shops as well. With regards to education, it is a reasonably short walk to reach both primary and secondary schools from any location in Fessenden. However, daycares are not very plentiful and consequently not always within walking distance.

Home buyers who prefer a slower-paced ambience will enjoy Fessenden. Green spaces are very well-spread out and there are a few of them nearby for residents to check out, which makes it easy to get to them. This area is also fairly good for those who prefer a quiet atmosphere, as the streets are quite tranquil - although there are still several louder sections, especially closer to Lincoln M Alexander Parkway.
