Transportation
Moving around by car is especially convenient in Westfort. It is very easy to come across a place to park. On the other hand, Westfort is not an especially pleasant part of Thunder Bay for getting around by public transit. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far away from most residences. Travelling on foot is not very convenient for house buyers in this area because carrying out daily needs is difficult.
Services
Some, but not all, house buyers in Westfort will reside within walking distance of the nearest grocery store. Residents are served by approximately 20 restaurants and coffee shops as well. Concerning education, parents and their schoolchildren may consider it challenging to get to high schools and primary schools as pedestrians. Moreover, there are only a limited number of daycares and therefore they can be an extended walk away.
Character
Westfort is quiet, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic - however some areas can be quite loud, especially close to one of the railway lines.
