Transportation

Driving is usually the preferred method to navigate this part of Waterloo. It is especially convenient to park, and many real estate listings are a rather short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Highway 85. In contrast, the public transit service in Lincoln is not particularly frequent. Thankfully, homeowners can rely on Conestoga Station on the 301 | Ion. There are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. This part of the city is not particularly bicycling-friendly as the cycling network is rather poor, and there are a good number of elevation changes. Travelling by foot is also not very popular in Lincoln, despite the fact that meeting day-to-day needs is convenient by walking.

Services

A supermarket is ordinarily reachable within a rather short walk from most homes for sale in Lincoln. Likewise, a restaurant is often just around the corner, and a limited variety of cafes can be found as well. In terms of education, primary schools and daycares are easy to walk to from most properties for sale in this area. In contrast, Lincoln does not have any high schools.

Character

The character of Lincoln is exemplified by its relaxed atmosphere. This area is reasonably good for those who like a quiet atmosphere, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic - although that is not the case closer to Highway 85. Lastly, public green spaces, including Bechtel Park and Anndale Park, are especially well-situated and there are approximately 10 of them close by for residents to relax in, making them easy to access.
