In contrast, the favoured means of transportation in this part of the city is very often driving. Most properties for sale are a short drive from the closest highway, such as Autoroute Laurentienne, and it is convenient to park.

Trait-Carré is a reasonably good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a calm atmosphere. Most areas in this part of the city are quiet, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic - although there are still several louder sections, especially around Autoroute Laurentienne. Finally, it is easy to reach green spaces from the majority of locations within the neighbourhood since there are a few of them close by for residents to relax in.
