Driving is an excellent means of transportation in this town. Most houses for sale are a reasonably short drive from the closest highway, and it is very convenient to come across a parking spot. This town is not very conducive to those who travel by foot because running daily errands is challenging.

Some, but not all, house buyers in this town will live within walking distance of the nearest supermarket. A limited selection of restaurants and coffee shops is available as well. Regarding education, high schools and primary schools are not very plentiful in Carbonear, and consequently tend to require a long walk to get to. Moreover, it can be difficult to walk to daycares from homes for sale in this town.

Character

Carbonear is great for those who prefer quiet surroundings, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.
