Driving is a very good medium of transportation in this area. Finding a place to park is quite easy. On the other hand, this area is not an especially pleasant part of Ajax for travelling by public transit. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines, and it is convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most houses. It is at times difficult for people travelling on foot to navigate this part of the town as few common errands can be run without having to use a car. Riverside is also not very appropriate for bicycling because riding is made strenuous by the typically steep topography, and the bicycling infrastructure is not very well-developed.
In Riverside, parents and their children will generally be able to access primary schools on foot. In contrast, it can be difficult to get to high schools as a pedestrian. With regards to food, property owners in this neighbourhood generally have to rely on a car to shop for groceries. Nonetheless, reaching the closest pharmacy and accordingly some staple foods is usually convenient.
The noise levels in Riverside are very low, as the streets are generally very peaceful. Green spaces aren't well-situated, making them very difficult to reach.
