The preferred method to get around in Clearview is very often a car. Many properties for sale are a short car ride from the closest highway, such as Queen Elizabeth Way, and it is very easy to access a parking spot. On the other hand, the public transit service in Clearview is not very frequent. Nonetheless, residents benefit from a few bus lines, and it is very easy to reach a nearby bus stop from most properties. Clearview is not particularly conducive to walking as very few day-to-day errands can be run on foot. Clearview is also not very appropriate for bicycling because the cycling network is fairly poor, and there is a significant amount of elevation changes.


In Clearview, parents and their kids will typically be able to reach primary schools on foot. On the other hand, there are no high schools in Clearview. As far as food is concerned, a grocery store is typically reachable within a rather short walk from any location in this neighbourhood. Residents benefit from a few restaurants and cafes as well.


The character of Clearview is exemplified by its slower-paced environment. This area is reasonably quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - although that is not the case around Queen Elizabeth Way or Highway 403.
