This city is a very convenient part of the Greater Oshawa metropolitan area for travelling by car. It is very easy to access a parking spot. On the other hand, the public transit service in this city is rather limited. Nonetheless, there is the Oshawa Station with access to the Lakeshore East Line. Homeowners have access to approximately 10 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most houses. A majority of the homes for sale in this city are located in places that are not especially convenient for those who travel by foot because few daily errands can be run without having to use a car.
Services
Parents and their kids will welcome that wherever their house is located in Oshawa, daycares and primary schools are nearby. On the other hand, it can be difficult to reach high schools as a pedestrian. With respect to food, some, but not all, home buyers in Oshawa will reside within walking distance of one of around 40 supermarkets.
