Character
Malvern is a good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a slower-paced ambience. This part of Toronto features not that much greenery; more specifically, residents will find that there are few tree-lined streets. Nonetheless, there are about 40 parks close by for residents to unwind in, including Neilson Park and Burrows Hall Park, and they are very well-spread out, which results in them being very easy to get to from most locations within the neighbourhood. This part of Toronto is also good for those who like a quiet atmosphere, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic - although there are still several noisier sections, especially around the railway line or Highway 401.
